I’ve been re-watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix. To me, it’s really the only Star Trek series worth watching.
So of course I was excited to come across this crocheted-doll set of the core Enterprise crew, made by Jana of Janaford. She crocheted them up for a friend and fellow crocheter’s birthday. I really can’t decide which one is my favorite. At first I thought it was Data. But Deanna Troi and Geordie La Forge are both so adorable too! When all is said and done though, Captain Jean-Luc Picard might be the best of all.
Jana writes, “This was a really fun project to crochet and he absolutely loved the birthday gift. His cats were pretty crazy about them too.” That makes me nervous. Cats? I hope the Enterprise crew did not meet their demise at the claws of some housecats! Hopefully they had their phasers at the ready, set to “stun.”
Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
