Gertie’s New Book for Better Sewing is a fun new pattern book, featuring sewing patterns that embody author Gretchen Hirsch’s fresh take on vintage style. In the book, there are 25 lovely wardrobe essentials, and I was lucky enough to be able to pick one out to share with you all! I chose The Portrait Blouse because it’s a classic and many body shapes look good in this cut. If you end up using this pattern, I’d love to see pics of the finished top. Our own Haley Pierson-Cox actually made this top in green polka dots. Adorable!

Can anyone tell me how to print out the last page of the pattern so that I can use it?
It’s my understanding that if you download the PDF and print the pattern at 100% zoom, that should be the correct size. You may need to go to a print shop to get the right size printed.
Okay, thank you!
