The Morbid Anatomy Art Academy in Brooklyn has been offering a number of unusual arts and craft classes including: “Anthropomorphic Mouse Taxidermy,” an “Effigy Doll Class,” and a “Mummification Class.” Apparently the classes are very popular, so I guess they’re getting stuffed with people who are just dying to take them.

Ok, that’s just funny
Hysterical, hahaha.
Advocating cruelty to animals is not something I ever thought this websigte woud advocate. I wil be deleting you from my home page
Hi Priscilla,
Sorry, just saw your comment. I don’t think anyone is advocating cruelty to animals here, this is from the link about the mouse taxidermy class:
“All animals were already dead, nothing was killed for this class. All mice used are feeder animals for snakes and lizards and would literally be discarded if not sold.”
They also ask that participants not bring any dead animals to class, so I think that part of the idea behind this class is that these dead mice are being discarded anyway and so they are trying to find something creative to do with them rather than just throwing them away. I believe that’s what’s going on here.
