Hi, Crafters -
You may have noticed a new face around here the last few days. She’s Carla Sinclair, and she’s taking the CRAFT Editor in Chief helm from me as of today.
I’ve decided to move on and pursue my own projects via CraftyPod. This has been an amazing learning experience, and of course I continue to love this website as a unique voice in the craft community.
I’m leaving you in good hands, as Carla was the Editor-in-Chief of the CRAFT print magazine. I’ll sign off here, and give her a chance to say hello…

Thanks for the introduction, Diane. You’ve done a great job with CRAFT and I look forward to keeping up with your amazing CraftyPod blog and podcast.
To everyone else, I’m so excited to be back at CRAFT!
Like Diane said, I was the editor of CRAFT’s print magazine for the first nine issues and loved every minute of it. I then became the project editor until we said goodbye to the magazine in 2009. Since then I’ve been writing and crafting on my own, which, although rewarding at times, has made me realize how much I’ve missed being a part of the passionate crafting community, where every day brings fresh creativity and new ways of approaching a craft.
I can’t wait to experience with you the joy of making things, and learning new skills to help us create whatever our imaginations can dream up.

Yay, and welcome back, Carla! I was so happy to see your name pop up on posts here the last few days. Diane, I will be reading along over at CraftyPod and I can’t wait to see you next month at the Hello Etsy conference.
Congratulations to you both on your new chapters! Carla I can’t wait to see all the fun you’re going to bring to CRAFT and Diane, I can’t wait to see all the new goodies you’ll be sharing back on craftypod. I wish you both the very best!
