You could buy a dinky, ready-made kit just for kids, but why not make your own industrial-strength zip line that will support the heaviest of neighbors? It’s a fun project you can tackle in a weekend, and you can order all the parts online for less than $400.
Get jamming with your very own cigar box guitar, and then hook it up to this inexpensive cracker box amp to crank it up. Grab your friends and make some noise!
Paper, tape, compressed air … lift-off! Blow your friends away as you send this 25-cent rocket hundreds of feet in the air. Build this easy launcher and rocket with common hardware store items in an afternoon or get the complete kit in the Maker Shed.
Get started with 3D printing — create a 3D model of your own head and then print it out in solid plastic! Take some simple pictures, use the online tool to create the 3D file, and then print out. If you don’t have a 3D printer at home, no worries, you can send it to a service that will mail it right to your door!
