Here's how to use an MP3 player as a flash drive.

MP3 Player as Flash Drive

Have you ever wanted to put un-music files on an MP3 player? Well, I’ll show you how today.

Steps

Step #1:

NextMP3 Player as Flash DriveMP3 Player as Flash DriveMP3 Player as Flash Drive
  • First, make sure your computer treats your MP3 player as a flash drive by plugging it in.
  • When Autoplay pops up, click on Open Folder To View Files. Check to make sure that the MP3 player has a drive letter assigned (Figure B.)

Step #2:

  • Now find the file you want to put on your MP3 player. (Figure A.) Then copy and paste the file to the MP3 player. (Figure B.)
  • You are done! To view files on another computer, just plug it in on that computer.
  • Troubleshooting: Autoplay won't start? What happened? Just go to My Computer and look for the MP3 player there.

Conclusion

It's easy to make an MP3 player hold un-music files.
