I haven’t actually held this book in my hot little hands, but it looks like a fascinating ride through knitting’s history and development. My father-in-law is a professor of textile engineering, and I’ve gotten a taste of how fascinating this subject can be. From finely hand-knit silk stockings to Gaultier dresses, this book would be an inspiration and education for any knitter.
